📍 Service Areas & Getting Started
What areas do you service?
We proudly serve all of Lee & Collier County, as well as parts of Charlotte County. Not sure if we come to you? Just reach out — we’re happy to check!
How do I get started?
Easy! Fill out the contact form on our website or give us a call. We’ll provide a free quote, inspect your lawn, and create a custom plan that fits your needs and budget.
How often do you treat my lawn?
Most of our lawn programs include 6 or 9 scheduled treatments per year, strategically timed to match seasonal needs. This ensures your grass gets the nutrients and protection it needs all year long!
What’s included in a lawn treatment?
Each visit includes a blend of fertilizer, weed control, and insect control tailored to the time of year and your lawn’s specific condition. We also spot-treat problem areas as needed!
Will you let me know before each service?
Absolutely. We provide text or phone call reminders before your visit.
What kind of results should I expect and how fast?
Most customers begin to see visible improvements within 2-3 treatments, though optimal results happen over time with consistent care.
Do you offer one-time treatments?
While we focus on ongoing care plans for the best results, we may offer one-time services depending on your needs. Reach out and we’ll be happy to discuss options.
How can I pay for my services?
We offer easy online payment links, as well as auto-pay options. We’ll also send friendly reminders so you never miss a payment.
What happens if it rains on my service day?
Florida weather can be unpredictable! Light rain typically doesn’t affect treatments, but if needed, we’ll reschedule or return to ensure full service.
Why choose Friendly’s Lawn & Pest Solutions?
Because we combine expert care with genuine customer service. As a local, family-owned business, we take pride in every yard and treat it like our own.
🌱 Lawn & Plant Health Tips
Do I need to water before or after service?
Yes! Watering your lawn 24 hours before and after treatment helps with product absorption and maximizes results. If rain is in the forecast, even better, Mother Nature does the work for you!
Are your products safe for kids and pets?
Absolutely. All products we use are EPA-approved. We just recommend keeping off the treated area until it’s fully dry — usually within 1–2 hours.
How long before I can walk on or mow the lawn?
We recommend waiting at least 24 hours or until fully dry, before walking on the lawn and 24-48Â hours before mowing to allow the products to settle and work effectively.
🌾 Common Issues & Solutions
What are grubs and why do I need a treatment for them?
Grubs are beetle larvae that feed on grass roots, leading to brown patches and weak turf. Our grub treatments in June and July protect your lawn before damage starts.
Do you treat for fire ants and other pests?
Yes! We offer targeted fire ant treatments as well as options for fleas, ticks, and more—all designed to help you enjoy your yard comfortably and safely.
What causes weeds like dollarweed and crabgrass?
These weeds thrive in damp, nutrient-poor lawns. Dollarweed especially loves wet areas. Our treatments help eliminate weeds and improve the overall health of your grass to prevent regrowth.
What’s the benefit of professional lawn care over DIY?
DIY often misses the timing, product mix, or coverage needed for real results. Our licensed technician applies commercial-grade products with precision, ensuring deeper root growth, better weed control, and long-term results that save you time and money.
What if I notice something wrong between treatments?
Let us know! If anything seems off — new weeds, brown patches, or pests — just reach out. We’ll inspect your lawn and make it right.
🌴 Shrub & Palm Care
What’s the difference between lawn, shrub, and palm treatments?
Each plant type needs a different care approach. Lawn care focuses on the soil and turf, shrubs are treated through their foliage and root zone, and palms need specialized nutrients for strong growth. We customize each service to give every plant what it needs.
